Characteristics
Ready-to-use, highly effective, alcoholic antiseptic for hygienic hand disinfection with a moisturizing effect. Suitable for all areas of personal hygiene. ETHASEPT® is characterized by excellent skin compatibility, even with very frequent use, and has been dermatologically tested and rated "very good." Aldehyde- and phenol-free formula. VAH-certified. IHO-listed.
Ingredients
100 g contain: 73.5 g ethanol.
Spectrum of activity
Bactericidal, yeasticidal, tuberculocidal, fully virucidal (conc. / 2 min.) and therefore effective against all enveloped and non-enveloped viruses (polio/adenovirus (EN), SV40/vaccinia (DVV)). Effective against rotaviruses, noroviruses, and MRSA. Broadly effective for hand disinfection, tested according to EN 1500 (hygienic hand disinfection) and EN 12791 (surgical hand disinfection), virucidal (polio/adenovirus), tested according to EN 14476.
Application
For hygienic hand disinfection. Suitable for all areas of human hygiene with high demands on hand hygiene in hospitals, medical practices, outpatient clinics, care facilities, as well as industrial and laboratory areas, and for skin disinfection. Rub the undiluted preparation into the hands, and if necessary, the forearms, and keep them moist for the entire application time. Standard hand-rubbing methods for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection must be observed! Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use.
durability
ETHASEPT® can be used for at least 12 months after the original containers have been opened. This is provided that the products are stored exclusively in the tightly sealed original containers, that any contamination during product removal is avoided, and that opened containers are stored under standard storage conditions (protected from moisture, direct sunlight, heat, and frost) at temperatures between 5 and 25°C.
